Lakeland Client Chooses Nissan GT-R Accent Lighting Upgrade

A client from here in Lakeland recently visited Tunes-N-Tint to inquire about a 2012 Nissan GT-R accent lighting upgrade. After discussing what the client wanted the vehicle to look like and inspecting the car, we developed a plan to make this deep-blue pearl GT-R look amazing.

We planned to use a RaceSport RS-UKIT under-car lighting kit and accent it with an RSWWKIT for the wheel wells. The RaceSport kits use premium RGB LEDs and include a wireless remote control the size of a credit card. The remote allows the owner to choose from any of hundreds of color options. He can also set the lights to flash or morph from one color to another.

Our installation team mounted the lighting under the vehicle and in the wheel wells. We ran all the control wires back to the RaceSport module and secured them in place. Once we tested the functionality of the system, it was time to turn the car over to the owner. He loved the way the accent lighting kit looked and couldn’t wait to get the car out at night.

The bar features a combination of spot and flood patterns to provide excellent long-distance coverage while ensuring you can see everything around the vehicle. Each kit includes vehicle-specific mounting brackets and a dedicated 9.8-foot power harness rated for 30 Amps of current.

Single-Row Light Bar Kits

The single-row Stealth light bar kits feature an equally stealthy design, but with a single row of LEDs for a lower profile. Kits are available for for Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Chevy and GMC vehicles. The single-row kits provide up to 25,000 lumens of output and most include a black cover to protect them when not in use.

Nissan Titan Side Steps for Winter Haven Truck Enthusiast

A client from Winter Haven, Florida, brought his 2017 Nissan Titan to Tunes-N-Tint to purchase a set of side steps for it. The truck accessory industry is huge – there are often dozens of solutions for a specific vehicle. We combed through several catalogs and websites before we found a set of steps the client liked. With his approval, we ordered the steps and scheduled an appointment to install them on his truck.

The client chose a set of DeeZee 6-inch Black Treat Aluminum Steps. These steps feature a nice, wide 6-inch design and a molded plastic step pad to ensure safe footing when getting in or out of the truck. The steps are made from durable 0.090 Brite-Tread finish aluminum and have a tough, textured, black powder-coated finish. The mounting brackets attach to the truck using existing mounting holes, so we didn’t have to drill into the vehicle.

The client was very happy with the way the new steps looked and, after jumping up and down on them, pleased with how sturdy they are.
